It will be 25 years on July 1st, that my beautiful baby girl enter into this world. I am just now beginning to scrapbook the pictures that have been taken in the last 25 years. The photos have always been organized in sticky photo albums (and the pictures are so hard to get out because the are stuck) but I want to make them beautiful now and scrapbook them. Here is the first page. I know, I know, I have a lot going on the page but that is how I like it. It takes me a while to do a page but I have started on the second one so come visit again soon and see what it is going to look like.

Those were the best days
Brock's Easter Bucket.
My precious Grandson, Brock. I Love him to pieces.
I had the BEST Easters ever when I was growing up. My favorite cousin and her family, from Indiana, would always come for Easter. We would wake up early to check our Easter baskets to see what the Easter bunny brought us. We always got some great cheesy little gifts. One year I got a beautiful stuffed white swan. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
I remember all my family(aunts, uncle, cousins) going to the park and spreading blankets on the ground and table cloths on the picnic tables. Then all the adults would get all the food ready while all the kids would run and play. Then they would call us all over to eat. Once the kids were finished eating, well, lets just say, we were ready to HUNT.
My uncle Benton, was always in charge of the eggs. Now, we didn't have all those store bought, plastic eggs. We had hard boiled eggs in all our favorite colors and special designs, that we decorated our self the night before. Then to top it off, uncle Benton wrote on each egg how much money we would get if we found that egg. Then he would make one egg a very special prize egg. It was worth $5. We were all so excited for the hunt to begin. The adults hid all the eggs and I mean they really hid the eggs. Then they would yell," we're ready". All the kids would take off running to find the eggs. Can you guess who always found the most eggs? Well, that would be, me. Those were the days.
My kids got to experience that kind of Easter some, but not like I did. Memories of a lifetime.

No candy but lots of fun and noisey toys!

We took Brock to his first little Easter egg Hunt today. He was so cute and was so good. He loved his little plastic egg we found for him. Tomorrow he gets to open his Easter bucket from me and his Granddaddy. I think he will love it. Happy Easter and many Blessing to you and your family.

No Sleep
I have been up all day and almost all last night because of storms and tornado's. Sirens were blaring at 6:00am. this morning. Scares me and I know I should not be fearful because fear is of the devil but I just hate storms. I've had to take cover a lot of times from tornado's and hurricanes and it is just as bad now or even worse then it was years ago. I did get to have a little cat nap today but I am so tired.
I need to go to bed but I still have to bake a cake for our church, friend and neighbor day. It is 11:30 and I am up making a Sour Cream Coconut cake. OK, it is 12:10 and the cake is finished and in the fridge. I tried to post a picture of the cake but I couldn't. Maybe I'll try again later.
I hope everyone has a Peachy day.

SPRING TIME and crafts
Well, it's that time of year.....Loving this beautiful weather and the not so beautiful storms. I HATE storms. So thankful we have a basement. We had a tornado on the south side of town last week and there were no warnings of any kind. There was alot of damage but thank God no one was hurt. Hopefully we don't have very many storms this year. With this wonderful weather comes alot of work outside. The pool is open but we have to get things cleaned up at the poolhouse and deck. I am ready to get all my flower pots planted with beautiful flowers and plants. My clematis is so pretty and green and it has a lot of buds that will blooming soon. Tom built me a arbor for my jasmine vine.
A couple of my friends came over last week and I helped them with a couple of scrapbook pages they are doing for their mom. It was so fun sharing my scrapbooking supplies and tools. I need to get really busy scrapbooking but I really like making crafts. It sure is fun. Here are a few things I've made lately.

I went with Whitney and Brock yesterday to have his 3month pictures taken. It was a beautiful day in the pecan orchard. Brock did wonderful too. He didn't smile but he didn't cry either. He wore a precious Feltman Brothers bubble and he wore a camo onesie. I will post more pictures when I have them. Here is one with the camo.....Looks like the turkey is about to attack him. So funny.LOL. Isn't he a cutie pic. He is so precious!!!
